How do I proceed in the event of freight damage? (even if the packaging shows no external damage!) The goods travel at the risk of the recipient. It is therefore IMPORTANT to observe the following points in the event of any damage and the resulting claims for damages against the carrier: 

In the event of recognizable damage (external damage to the packaging or the goods), please note this immediately in the presence of the carrier (driver) on the delivery note or the roll card and have this certified. It is important to indicate the type of damage. If the packaging is in perfect condition, the goods must be unpacked immediately and checked for possible damage. Freight damage not stated or reported late will not be recognized by the carrier or insurer.
